Beeswax

Pure beeswax is one of nature’s most perfect products. Prized since ancient times, beeswax candles burn longer and cleaner than ordinary wax candles. Because of its high melting point, beeswax candles have a slow, smokeless flame that gives off more light and heat than other waxes and there is no dripping.

Made by the industrious bees of the prairies, beeswax has a sweet, natural fragrance that helps freshen any room simply by warming it up. Pure beeswax is a durable medium. There are cultures in the Eastern United States that have handed down beeswax decorations for many generations. Over a period of time a dull film will cover beeswax articles. It is called “bloom” and is a sign of the purity of the wax. Bloom is easily removed by lightly buffing the beeswax with a soft cloth or carefully applying warm air with a hair dryer.
